Prefer to talk about music instead of biographies. Nonetheless: they met in spring 2018 through a mutual music friend, hooked up for a day to explore music together, played everything in between Bach and Britten, decided they sounded 'good' and should extend their musical dynamics to stage: Vorontsova & Thouvenin was born. The fresh and crispy program for 2018-2019 is an energetic start of their collaboration: V&T's favorite works for cello & piano, combining romantic classics with the upbeat energy of early modern repertoire.
